The 2021 Art Hop is a statewide juried art exhibit held annually at two venues in the historic downtown district of Georgetown.

Georgetown Art Works, the non-profit that manages the Georgetown Art Center, organizes all aspects of the exhibit and displays selected artworks in the gallery at the Georgetown Art Center and display space at the Georgetown Public Library.

This art competition is open to any artist 16 years or older residing in Texas and the categories of art on display are:

  • 2-D Representational

  • 2-D Abstract

  • 3-D

  • Photography

A cash prize is awarded to the overall Best of Show.

Individual awards of First, Second, and Third place are given in each category.

On October 9, 2021 a progressive reception begins at Georgetown Public Library at 2:00PM and moves to Georgetown Art Center at 3:30PM. Awards ceremony at Georgetown Art Center at 4:00PM.
